A man survived being shot in the face and shoulder Friday afternoon, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Gibram Guzman Burgara, 23, of Bakersfield, was shot in the face and shoulder while in an east alley on the 2700 block of Cornell Street at around 3:42 p.m., police said.
